Genealogy Pot-Pourri – Week Ending 27 September 2021

1)  Hosted and the Chula Vista Genealogical Society Particular Assembly on Wednesday on Zoom with 69 in attendance.  Thomas MacEntee introduced “The 1950 Census – Are You Prepared?”

6)  There have been a number of periods working within the RootsMagic software program program to match with and replace FamilySearch Household Tree profiles for Seaver households and my ancestral households, with occasional additions to the RootsMagic profiles. I’ve matched 44,758 of my RootsMagic individuals with FamilySearch Household Tree profiles (up 162).

7)  Used Internet Hints and Document Matches from Ancestry, MyHeritage, Findmypast and FamilySearch so as to add content material and supply citations to my RootsMagic profiles.  I now have 65,988  individuals in my RootsMagic file (up 178), and 142,483 supply citations (up 237).   I TreeShared with my Ancestry Member Tree two occasions the previous week updating 340 profiles, and I resolved 1m022 Ancestry Hints.  I’ve fallen behind on the Ancestry Document Hints with 159,534 to be resolved, however I work on them virtually day by day.

Aside from that, it was stay-at-home on the pc doing (primarily) family tree, plus consuming, sleeping, laundry, cleansing, cooking, watching TV information and sports activities, studying books, napping, and somewhat yard work.
