“Evelyn Stokes Married to Ralph R. Carringer
“Miss Evelyn Stokes turned the bride of Ralph Richard Carringer Thursday in a ceremony learn at 8 p.m. within the chapel of St. Paul’s Methodist Church. The Rev. M. B. Kober officiated.
“The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Stokes of foss, Okla., and the bridegroom. previously of Cedar Rapids, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.T. Carringer of Oklahoma Metropolis, Okla.

Ralph Richard Carringer is my 4th cousin 1x eliminated, with widespread ancestors of my 4th great-grandparents Martin and Magdalena (Hoax) Carringer.
